How to Make

Our soups are super easy to make. Just add the contents of the jar into a pot, add 3-4 of the same jars of cold water. Bring contents of the pot to a boil, then reduce to simmer for the amount of time suggested on the jar. Et voila! You have a delicious meal.

However, the best part about our products is that you can change them up in so many different ways:

Cooking Methods

Use Your Slow Cooker

Our soups are perfect for the slow cooker. Turn on the slow cooker for 5-6 hours on high and go about your day as your dinner makes itself.

Our Black Beans Chili and Smoked Navy Beans Chili take between 90 and 120 minutes in a regular pot. In the slow cooker, these soups take about 8-9 hours on high. Again, cook longer for softer beans.

Speed Up the Process

You can cook our soups in the pressure cooker and in only 25 minutes you will have a tasty creamy soup. Our chilies will take about 40 minutes.

Puree It

Have an infant in the house? Our soups make for great purees for babies and grown ups alike. Simply use less water when cooking (or cook for longer for a creamier soup) and put the soup in your favourite mixer or blender. Use caution when mixing hot food!

Stew It

Have a picky eater in the house that doesn’t love soup? (But really, who doesn’t love soup?) Make them a stew!

All you have to do is add less water to the recipe and/or cook longer. This will make a thicker consistency that will be delicious with rice, quinoa, or your favourite side.

Add Meat

Split Pea Curry Soup with beef and potatoes
Our Yellow Split Pea Curry Soup served with stewed beef and potatoes

Our soups are vegan and have plenty of protein of their own but they can be modified to please the meat eaters in the family.

Simply brown your desired meat ahead of time (such as ground beef or chicken) and add to the pot along with the soup mix and water. You can even add in some potatoes for a heartier mix!
